The mainstream AI faced by ML, which faced by DL, is ignoring world's knowledge, as the sum of universal knowledge, not mentioning background knowledge, prior knowledge, common-sense knowledge or domain knowledge.

Daily we generate about 2.5 quintillion bytes of data, and data-driven science and technology, data-driven analytics, and data-driven decision, in many key sectors and industries, industry, healthcare, finance, etc.

We need to discover the meaningful CAUSAL patterns in the data to get rules, models, intelligence or insights to make reasonable decisions about the problem.

The mainstream AI/ML/DL relies on the statistical independence, instead of CAUSAL DEPENDENCE, forming correlational patterns, mostly spurious due to the lack of Prior Knowledge about the world, its facts, causes, phenomena and laws.

There are some studies trying to inject the domain knowledge in the weights of neural networks, while you need to filter the input data via the world’s knowledge model layer.

This is why all the correlational and statistical ML of big tech, as Microsoft AI Azure + GPT-3 or Google’s BERT/MUM or Meta SEER or Amazon AWS or Tesla AI, etc., is dumb, dull and deficient, or 3dAI, or simply Fake AI (FAI). I am not mentioning about mass cases of pseudo AI, when humans are pretending to be machines that are supposed to do the work of humans.
