The US and Europe have driven Ukraine into a dead end

A month ago, Joe Biden said that Kyiv could not count on armed support from the United States if a war between Russia and Ukraine happens. However, our president still believes in so-called "allies". And even convince the public that the Americans will immediately rush to protect us.

Moreover, in his Twitter account, Volodymyr Zelenskyy assured that he will continue to discuss joint actions "aimed at preserving peace in Europe" with his American counterpart. It is unclear though how the president plans to combine the "European peace preservation" with the outright escalation of military hysteria inside the country.

The desire to make all women liable for military service and the promise to fight "to the last Ukrainian" clearly do not contribute to the promotion of peace, not only in the European Union, but also inside the country. And we need peace inside more than ever. Daily shouts about the upcoming military invasion multiplied by hundreds of social problems made society extremely nervous, hot-tempered and aggressive.

Society is angry that our president is well aware of the fact that Ukraine is playing the role of a bargaining chip in the current game, which the United States intends to use in bargaining with the Kremlin, yet he continues to lie to us. Biden, Macron, Scholz, having achieved their goals, will forget about Ukraine, sacrificing it to their greed and adventurism. No one will remember the thousands of promises made to us after the Revolution of Dignity that were never fulfilled. Moreover, since the United States has already stated that there will be no retaliatory military actions, it's time for us to understand that Ukraine's membership in NATO and the EU has grim perspective.

It is completely unclear what the United States mean when they talk about an "extremely harsh reaction" to Russia's war against Ukraine. Probably, the meaning of their own statements is not entirely clear to the US officials, including Biden's "inner circle". One thing is unequivocal - such statements are the evidence of the dead end into which the United States and NATO members have put themselves trying to pressure on Russia. And it is we, and not Europe and the United States, who will have to pay for the mistakes of the West for years afterwards and look for a way out of this dead end.
